  *A 2nd session 10 game league will be schedule at the conclusion of the 1st session (weather permitting).

  1 hour time limit per game.

STAR

Stretch, Tone, and Relax
Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-6:30 p.m. 
  Free to YMCA Members!
  Available all year!
 

A new, effective and exciting workout program for adults of all fitness levels to build strength, increase flexibility, and relieve stress.

The class is not about competition or comparisons.  Low lights and soft music will set the tone for guided relaxation. You will learn proper breathing techniques  to release tension and stress and truly relax.  

Come and experience this challenging yet relaxing new workout class.  Wear comfortable clothing.  Be prepared to remove shoes and socks.

No registration required.

Water Fitness Located at the Macon Public Pool

  Classes begin the week of June 17-July 31
  Level 3 Water Fitness & Toning
  Y-members: $35 (7 week session)
  Non-members: $70 (7 week session)
  Class size limited to 35
  Inclement weather or temperature cancellations will not be made up.

Water Fitness & Toning Workout (Level 3)

Intermediate-level activity uses water resistance to improve strength, posture, flexibility and coordination while getting a super cardiovascular workout.  Class varies in intensity by the use of interval and circuit training, which will increase mobility and aerobic endurance.  Focus will be to reshape, redefine and increase muscular endurance by using strength training with water resistant equipment.  Class will build stronger defined arms, tighter, firmer buns, leaner legs and magnificent abdominals.

A 50 minute, full body, integrated strength training class designed to improve functional strength, body composition, coordination and balance using exercise balls, floor exercises, and weight equipment. This class is suitable for first-time weight trainers and the experienced weight trainer.

The weight program will include circuit training with goals: learn proper mechanics, learn mulitple lifts for the same muscle, identify sets/reps/timing.

Each Session runs for 4 weeks

Sessions begin: April 28, June 2, June 30, July 28

Fees: $25 Members Only 

*Noon Express-$20 Members Only
